Quite simply, I got fed up with having to download new android ROMs from rapidshare-type sites, and I figured other people must be equally fed up. So, I gathered up all the roms, apks, spls, recovery images and radios I could find and uploaded them to my google docs accounts, then shared them all through a shared folder. Shazam, instant file repository. Now, I'm still fed up with downloading ROMs via crapidshare and their ilk, so if you see a ROM that isn't here, why not upload it to your own Google Docs account and share it with me (slippy@slippylane.com) whereupon I'll place it in the shared "Android Stuff" folder. If you don't have a Google Docs account, go get one. It's easy enough. If you don't WANT a Google Docs account, email me the link (same address as before) and I'll do the necessary. If your Google Docs account is nearly full up and you don't want to use the space to store Android ROMs, you can just sign up for another Google/Gmail account. As many times as you like. Here's a shortlink that'll take you to the aforementioned shared folder: http://l.slippylane.com/androidroms and here's one for the "About" page: (It's essentially the same as this article, but with additional updates. Occasionally) Finally to sign up for a Google, Gmail or GoogleApps account, might I suggest you start with www.google.com :-) As the great Elzar once said, "Bam!" Mandatory stuff: Please only share files if it is legal to do so. If you see a file here that breaches any laws, licenses or copyrights, please email me at the above address and I will remove it from the shared folder immediately upon receipt of your mail. I don't want to break any laws, just provide a central place to access files that are already freely available for download elsewhere. |
